CHANTILLY, Va., Aug. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vencore, Inc. announced today that it was awarded a contract to lead the concept definition and strategic planning to implement advanced analysis techniques, including Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) and Object-Based Production (OBP), for the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR). Vencore's work will be performed as a subcontractor to AUSGAR Technologies, Inc. and the contract is valued at $1.5 million.
ABI and OBP are techniques that can enhance the ability to gather and analyze massive amounts of data, and, in turn, quickly provide actionable insights and quantifiable conclusions. This eliminates the need to manually gather data from multiple stovepipes and piece correlating information together.
Vencore's engineers can develop and implement advanced multi-intelligence solutions for data fusion, automated association, and anticipatory analysis.
"We are proud to support SPAWAR in operationalizing the highly sophisticated and accurate methods of ABI and OBP to collect and analyze data," said Mac Curtis, president and chief executive officer of Vencore. "These methods will allow SPAWAR to integrate volumes of intelligence data with an unprecedented level of speed and accuracy."
