Vencore Awarded Operations and Maintenance Task Order for U.S. General Services Administration's REXUS System
CHANTILLY, Va., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vencore announced today it was awarded a four-year, Firm Fixed Price task order under the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) Information Technology and Development Services (ITDS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide Operations and Maintenance of the current REXUS system. The task order has a total ceiling value of approximately $15 million.
REXUS, used by GSA's Public Buildings Service (PBS), is a property data management system that is used to manage both federally owned properties and commercially leased real estate. REXUS is a core PBS system that contains modules for buildings, leases, space assignments, projects, reporting and administration. REXUS processes all building information and space assignments and feeds multiple PBS systems both in real-time and through batch processing.
As the incumbent, under the REXUS task order Vencore will continue to support PBS, delivering business requirements and providing operational and maintenance support. Additionally, Vencore will look to enhance inventory utilization, streamline IT infrastructure operations, improve business applications and systems, and drive accurate business analytics.
"We are constantly finding new and exciting ways to support and expand our partnership with GSA," says John Sutton, senior vice president and general manager of Vencore's Mission Solutions business unit. "Through this task order, and our position on the ITDS BPA, we will rely on innovation and our market expertise to modernize the GSA IT environment."
For more than 14 years and across more than 25 projects, Vencore has been providing comprehensive IT support services to PBS. Services have included: project oversight, enterprise solution development, and application maintenance in support of GSA's business and strategic IT objectives.
