Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. Names Michael Wedge as Senior Vice President of Operations

NEW YORK, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. announced today that Michael Wedge joined the company as senior vice president of operations on July 21, 2010.  Wedge brings over 20 years of executive leadership experience in both corporate and government sectors.

Prior to joining Velocity, Wedge served 14 years with Oracle Consulting, most recently as regional vice president, where he successfully delivered a large scale systems integration program for the United Parcel Service WorldPort in Louisville, Ky. Subsequent to his tenure at Oracle, Wedge served as president and COO for US Operations at Danka Office Imaging and as CIO for Tomkins PLC, Industrial and Automotive Division. In his new role at Velocity Wedge will report directly to Tom Bruno, Velocity president and CEO.
