Vehicles Seized by Pennsylvania State Law Enforcement Agencies, Motorcycles to Highlight Final Commonwealth Vehicle Auction of 2015 on Dec. 8
Pre-sale preview of more than 450 units takes place Friday, Dec. 4 through Monday, Dec. 7
HARRISBURG, Pa., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A variety of vehicles seized by state law enforcement agencies and more than 50 motorcycles will be among 460 units up for public bid during the final commonwealth vehicle auction of the year on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. the state Department of General Services announced today.
All vehicles can be previewed in-person by the public at Manheim Keystone Pennsylvania, 488 Firehouse Road in Grantville, Dauphin County from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning, Friday, Dec. 4 through Monday, Dec. 7. The auction will be held at the same location.
Seized vehicles in this auction include: 2002 Lexus ES300, 2004 Jeep Liberty, 2006 Land Rover Range Rover, 2006 Honda Accord, 2011 Nissan Altima, 2000 BMW 325i, 2009 Toyota Camry, 2009 Volkswagen Jetta, 2010 Ford Ranger, 2008 Jeep Patriot and a 1986 Harley Lowrider among other vehicles.
A variety of motorcycles from Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha; and a selection of sedans, pick-up trucks, SUVs and utility vehicles no longer used by state agencies from manufacturers such as Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Pontiac and others will be available.
All revenue generated from the sale of these vehicles is returned to the commonwealth.
The auction will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at noon. Buyers may purchase with cash or certified funds in the form of money orders, cashier's checks, certified checks or bank checks – all made payable to "Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction."
