To create these unique offerings, Osvaldo Veglio teamed up with International Wine Consultant, Sebastiano Ramello, to develop a 100% natural process of producing red wines containing less than 0.5 mg of histamine per liter. These new offerings meet a growing consumer demand for low-histamine wines, as an estimated 10% of the world's population suffer from "red wine headaches" (headaches, nausea and flushing that occurs after drinking red wine) as a result of an intolerance to the histamines present in many of the red varietals consumers drink today.
