VECTRA Announces New Chief Financial Officer

ST. LOUIS, Jan. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- VECTRA, formerly OM Group, Inc., announced today that Manavendra Sial was appointed its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective December 14, 2015. 

Manavendra brings over 20 years of experience from SunEdison, Inc. and General Electric (GE).  His roles have blended operational finance, general management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and P&L responsibility across global markets.  According to Jim Voss, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, "Manavendra is a key member of VECTRA's leadership team, shaping and driving the plan to significantly grow our market-leading businesses."

Most recently, Mr. Sial served as Senior Vice President-Finance and Deputy Chief Financial Officer for SunEdison, a renewable energy company.  In this role, he was directly responsible for several financial functions including audit, treasury, tax, financial controls, FP&A, operational finance, and business process outsourcing.  Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer for SunEdison's APAC and South Africa business.  Manavendra also held various financial and management positions at GE, most recently as the CFO for GE's Power Delivery business.

Mr. Sial began his career at a major international accounting firm and is a Chartered Accountant.  He earned his MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
