LOS ANGELES, May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- vCom Solutions, the pioneer of Telecom Management as a Service (TMaaS), has announced an expansion into southern California with a new office in the Los Angeles metro area.
The announcement by vCom Solutions, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, comes on the heels of the recent opening of its Portland, Oregon office and sales initiative in the northwest states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

The typical 'Fortune 500' approach to Telecom Expense Management is to license software to companies at prices such as $10,000 per month and up that will enable them to consolidate, track, and manage the telecom for all of their offices from one location. Companies also pay for the professional services to assist with office hook-up, disconnects, or troubleshooting.
But vCom offers the mid-size company a solution they can afford. It provides the software and professional services for free. No charge. Instead, vCom has the company agree to buy its telecom service through vCom instead of directly from the carrier, such as Verizon or Sprint. vCom's wholesale buying power from carriers then reduces the price the customer will pay by up to 20 percent.
For the newly-opened Los Angeles-based office, Jackie Garay, a former account executive with Sprint and Verizon, will serve as business development manager.
Garay comes to vCom Solutions with over 9 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to vCom, she was the Telecommunications Manager for Garda Cash Logistics, the second largest cash logistics company in the U.S., and she was the IT Manager of all telecommunications for OneWest Bank.
