VASCO launches DIGIPASS 810 e-ID

(Nasdaq: VDSI; www.vasco.com), a leading software security company specializing in strong authentication products launches today DIGIPASS 810 e-ID for MYDIGIPASS.COM. This newest DIGIPASS device offers the possibility to authenticate and generate OTPs through the use of a Belgian e-ID card and the PIN code linked to the e-ID. With the launch of DIGIPASS 810 e-ID, VASCO enables consumers to safely access websites secured by MYDIGIPASS.COM with their e-ID, ensuring authentication yet by another user-friendly means.

A growing number of countries are rolling out smart chip enabled ID cards for their citizens. Although DIGIPASS 810 e-ID is developed for the Belgian e-ID card, VASCO can localize the product to other countries and other applications. DIGIPASS 810 e-ID creates many possibilities to use e-ID cards for secure and convenient online transactions worldwide.
