THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Feb. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Vaquero Midstream today announced the appointment of Kirk N. Blackim as Vice President of Business Development. Kirk brings over 30 years of experience in management roles to Vaquero with involvement in business development, accounting, finance, operations and governmental regulation of midstream and gas transmission systems. Kirk's experience extensively covers most basins in the United States. He has built strong relationships with a range of producers from small independents to large international companies.
Kirk joins Vaquero from Crestwood Midstream Partners LP, where he served as the Director of Business Development – Gathering and Processing. Prior to Crestwood, he developed gathering and processing projects with The Williams Companies holding titles including Manager of Commercial Development and Senior Originator in Williams Corporate Strategy Development Group.

Kirk is a graduate of Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas with a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. He successfully completed the C.P.A. exam in 1983. He will be based out of Vaquero's office in The Woodlands.
