ValueOptions® Names Shaun Costello as Chief Information Officer

NORFOLK, Va., Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ValueOptions^®, a health improvement company specializing in mental and emotional wellbeing and recovery, today announced the promotion of Shaun Costello to Chief Information Officer (CIO). Costello previously served as Vice President of Information Technology Hosting Services.

For 15 years, Costello has served at ValueOptions in a variety of IT roles. As CIO, he is now responsible for all core information technology functions, including data center operations, telecommunications, technology planning and deployment, IT business support and application development for all business-critical systems. Additional responsibilities include leveraging new technologies to improve business operations and competitive positioning, as well as developing strategic alliances with leading technology vendors.

Prior to his tenure at ValueOptions he spent time at Charles E. Smith Companies, Sato Travel and Intelligent Electronics. Before his civilian career, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
