ValueOptions Names Glenn Polansky Vice President and New York Market President

NORFOLK, Va., Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ValueOptions^®, Inc., a health improvement company specializing in mental and emotional wellbeing and recovery, today announced that Glenn Polansky has joined the company as Vice President and New York Market President.

In his new position, Polansky will oversee all operations that support all company contracts with state-sponsored programs and health plans. He will also serve as the senior executive leader for all New York health plan and public sector new business development.

Prior to joining ValueOptions, Polansky served as Network Market Head of the East Region for Aetna where he was responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as focusing on Medicaid and the Managed Long Term Care in the East region. Polansky also served as CEO of Aetna/Integral Health Plan in Florida. He previously held leadership roles at HIP Health Plan of New York, as well as New York Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medical College.
