Valley National Bank Promotes Dianne M. Grenz to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Banking Officer
WAYNE, N.J., Jan. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley National Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY), announced today the promotion of Dianne M. Grenz to Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Banking Officer.
Ms. Grenz joined Valley National Bank in 1995 and has held a number of prominent senior leadership positions over her tenure. She was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2014.
As Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Consumer Banking Officer, Dianne is responsible for directing Valley's Retail Deposit strategy, including product development and distribution channel optimization. In addition, she manages the Bank's marketing communication strategy and public relations in conjunction with the Bank's business line managers. The Bank's 24/7 Customer Service Center reports to Dianne as does the direct marketing and sales of Valley's Cash Value Line of Credit business.

Ms. Grenz graduated from Centenary College, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Marketing and Management and received her Executive MBA in Marketing and Management from the Business School of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dianne has been involved in many philanthropic organizations as well as serving as a Board Member for both NJ Bankers Association and CUMAC.
