Valley Joist + Deck Announces New Leadership And Unveils New Brand Identity
Thad Chapman, Keith Juedemann, and Chuck McGlothlen will pave the way for growth for Valley Joist + Deck.
FORT PAYNE, Ala., July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley Joist + Deck ("Valley") announced today that Thad Chapman, Keith Juedeman and Chuck McGlothlen will lead the strategic, financial, and operational responsibilities for the company, which designs, engineers, and manufactures a full range of steel joist and deck product systems. All three have an established track record of driving significant growth and success within cost-effective and results-oriented environments.
Mr. Chapman comes to Valley as Vice President of Operations and has 15 years of engineering and operating experience within the steel industry. Most recently, he worked with the Canam Group where he served as General Manager of their plant in Buckeye, AZ. Earlier, he was Director of Engineering for Consolidated Systems. He enjoys being an active member within the industry and has served on the Steel Deck Institute's Board of Directors. Thad received his Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and his BS degree in Civil Engineering at The Citadel.
Mr. Juedemann was named VP of Sales and Engineering and joins the team with over 15 years of steel industry experience in operations, engineering, and sales. He spent over a decade at Canam Group in a variety of roles including Engineering Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and General Manager for their plant in Point of Rocks, MD. Keith received both his BS & MS degrees in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology.
Mr. McGlothen was tapped as CFO and joins the company with over 30 years of financial and operational management experience, most recently serving as CFO of the EMJ Corporation where he developed the long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies for all of the subsidiary companies within EMJ. Earlier in his career, he held CFO positions at Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. as well as the Smock Fansler Corporation. Chuck holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Notre Dame and received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting & Management from Evangel University.
