Valiant Integrated Services Re-Awarded Key Contract to Support U.S. Navy Facilities in Italy

HERNDON, Va., Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Valiant Integrated Services ("Valiant"), a leader in delivering essential services and supplies that matter most to customer readiness in support of complex missions, today announced the company, through its joint venture with Italian partner ALCA, has been re-awarded a key contract to support three U.S. Navy facilities located in Italy.

The Valiant/ALCA joint venture was the incumbent contract holder, providing services and support to the U.S. Naval facilities.

Under the terms of the new eight-year contract with the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic Division, Valiant/ALCA will provide management, supervision, labor, materials and equipment to provide housing, facility support, transportation and environmental oversight at U.S. Navy facilities in Sigonella, Niscemi, and Augusta Bay. The maximum value of the contract, including a one-year base period with seven option years, is approximately $61 million.

The U.S. Naval Air Facility in Sigonella was formally established in June 1959, by its first commanding officer, Capt. Walter J. Frazier. Sigonella provides consolidated operational command and control, administrative, logistical and advance logistical support as a premier logistics base in the Mediterranean.
