Vacuworx ranked No. 13 on The Journal Record's 2013 Tulsa's Fast 40, an annual compilation of top privately held companies that focus on utilizing the innovation and skill of employees to grow their businesses and positively impact both local and state economies.
The rankings reflect companies that experienced strong revenue growth from 2010 to 2012, with Vacuworx budding by 100 percent and nearly doubling the size of its workforce to more than 40 employees during the most recent Fast 40 reporting period.
Comments by Mary Melon, president and publisher of The Journal Record, appeared in a September 2013 article and include her outlook on progress in the Tulsa business community and integrity of the most-recent Fast 40 honorees.
"It is inspirational to see the Tulsa business community's continued vibrancy and growth, and it is important to take time to celebrate the remarkable progress being made," The Journal Record reported. We are proud to recognize their accomplishments."
In the past three years, Vacuworx tripled the size of its inventories and – in addition to announcing the development of a $10 million training facility on 55th Place – has scaled up its efforts to manage growth in the pipeline, road and sewer, construction, road construction and horizontal directional drilling markets around the world.
