Vaco's Frances Moreno Honored as Volunteer of the Year in LA Business Journal Women's Summit and Awards

LOS ANGELES, July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Vaco Los Angeles, LLC announced Vaco managing partner, Frances Moreno, was awarded Volunteer of the Year at the Los Angeles Business Journal Women's Summit and Awards. This event is designed to recognize and honor outstanding professional women who have made significant contributions to their organizations, their professions, and the Los Angeles community.

Moreno is on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles which serves over 40,000 girls. She is active on the Girl Scout Board Development Committee. Moreno also chairs the audit committee and co-chairs the annual gala for Kidsave, a leading child advocacy organization for older foster children in the U.S. and orphans worldwide. As a former trustee for Kidsave, she has raised awareness and contributions for the organization since 2007. Her business, Vaco Los Angeles, is also involved in EmpowHer Institute, Dress for Success, A Place Called Home, and Asian Professional Exchange (APEX), among others.

Moreno co-founded Vaco Los Angeles LLC in 2006. Since its inception, Vaco Los Angeles has successfully completed over 3,000 project engagements in tax, audit, accounting, finance, and technology, and has provided executive search services to hundreds in the LA business community.
