V-Color is First Module Manufacturer to Receive Intel Approved Seal from CMTL for 2400MHz Module on Intel S2600CW DDR4 Server Platform
ANAHEIM, Calif., April 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CMTL, (www.cmtlabs.com), Computer Memory Test Labs announced today that V-Color is the first memory module manufacturer member in CMTL's Intel Approved Memory Program to have a DD4 2400MHz module (16GB Registered) receive the Intel Approved seal on Intel's DDR4 server platform S2600CW. The V-Color part number TR16G18C17-083C passed Intel's rigorous Advanced testing process performed by CMTL. The testing process has been successfully completed and the part has been added to the S2600CW approved tested memory list on Intel's website.
CMTL was established in 1996, in cooperation with Intel, as a third party test lab to ensure memory module compatibility and functionality on Intel platforms. Memory that successfully passes the Intel Approved testing process by CMTL is added to each Intel motherboard approved memory list. Modules not approved by Intel are not supported and may have a higher risk of experiencing sporadic errors, unstable functionality and performance issues.
