Utilipath, LLC. Announces Executive Appointments

MOORESVILLE, N.C., Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Newly acquired North Carolina based Utilipath, LLC, a nationally recognized provider of construction services in telecommunications infrastructure services and turnkey dark fiber solutions, with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, announced today the appointment of a new executive team.

Joaquin Luna has been named Chief Executive Officer of Utilipath.  The Company appointed Mr. Luna as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective August 19, 2013. Mr. Luna brings his expertise to Utilipath and has been at the forefront of the telecom industry as former President of USCarrier Telecom and Managing Partner of Violle, LLC.  Mr. Luna has held management positions in multi-billion dollar companies both domestic and international.  Joaquin holds an MBA in Business Administration from DePaul University.

Baxter Hayes, former Principal of Utilipath has been named Chief Operating Officer of the company.  Baxter will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of Utilipath's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. Additionally, he will be responsible for the attainment of short-term and long-term financial and operational goals.  Mr. Hayes holds an MBA from Emory University. 

Jack Roberts has been named Chief Marketing Officer of Utilipath.  Former Managing Partner of Violle, LLC and Vice President of USCarrier Telecom, Jack's responsibilities include generating revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing for the entire organization. Additionally, Mr. Roberts will be responsible for strategic planning and development, branding, market research, customer service and sales management across global markets.  Jack had a thirty-four year career with AT&T Design Engineering and Global Sales.

Pedro Ferreira has been named Chief Business Development Officer of Utilipath.  Former Managing Partner of Violle and Director of Technology and Business Development of USCarrier Telecom, Mr. Ferreira's duties will include overseeing operations of the newly created subsidiary Utilipath Fiber Networks, defining long-term organizational strategic goals, managing key client relationships, partnerships, vendor relations and driving business growth. Pedro holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
