Utah Valley Expecting Fall Season to Surpass Previous Years

PROVO, Utah, Aug. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Utah Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau (UVCVB), the official destination marketing organization for Utah County, forecasts another profitable autumn season as tourists prepare to visit Utah for fall colors and other harvest attractions.

"Utah's impressive display of fall foliage, which colorfully carpets our mountain ranges, entices both Utah residents and out-of-state visitors to spend more time outdoors and visit the painted peaks throughout our state," said Joel Racker, President and CEO of the UVCVB. "This year brought an increased amount of moisture to the mountains and we are eager to see how that may boost the brilliance of this year's colors."  

Utah Valley has been nationally recognized for its fall colors by such national features as MSN.com's Fall Foliage Smackdown. With this nationwide popularity, many Utah Valley venues provide additional outdoor events and activities for visitors who come to enjoy the scenery.
