USPTO Publishes ClearOne's New Networked Intercom Node Patent

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ClearOne (http://www.clearone.com) (Nasdaq: CLRO), a global communications solutions company that develops and sells conferencing, collaboration, streaming media, and connectivity systems for audio, video and web applications, today announced they have received notice of publication from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for their patent titled Networked Intercom Node For A Networked Audio Distribution System, # US 2010/0195845 A1.

This patent is related to their StreamNet® technology and provides presence, controls and rich two-way hands-free communications throughout a Local Area Network via Internet Protocols.  User generated audio and data content and messages, as well as networked multi-media, can be time and space shifted to allow notification or playback anywhere on the network at any time.  The technology enables discovery, authentication and synchronous transmission and playback of time-sensitive media content over Internet Protocol on mobile or user installed presentation devices such as smartphones smartpads, desktop phones and wall mounted control surfaces.
