Since 1990, Yale Law School has topped the U.S. News Best Law Schools rankings. With the 2013 edition, the No. 2 and No. 3 schools switched, with Stanford Law School ousting Harvard Law School for the No. 2 spot.

Highlights of the 2013 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings will be published in the Best Graduate Schools 2013 edition book, on sale April 3, 2012. The most comprehensive version of the upcoming Best Law Schools, including all the extended rankings and complete data, will be available online through the U.S. News Law School Compass.
