USI Insurance Services Announces Agreement to Acquire Brooks Insurance

VALHALLA, N.Y., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- USI Insurance Services ("USI") has entered into an agreement to acquire Brooks Insurance ("Brooks"), headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the Midwest. Since 1922, Brooks has provided comprehensive coverage and personalized service to clients in northwest Ohio, southeast Michigan and northeast Indiana. Brooks' solutions include property-casualty, employee benefits, bonds/surety, homeowners, renters, automobile, watercraft and personal health. This acquisition is expected to close shortly. The employees will remain at their Toledo and Bowling Green, Ohio, locations.
