USHCC President & CEO Palomarez Speaks at White House Forum on American Latino Heritage
Contributions of Latinos in America addressed at event attended by President Obama and Justice Sonia Sotomayor
WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) President & CEO Javier Palomarez, spoke on a panel moderated by Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Hosted by Secretary Ken Salazar, Department of the Interior, the White House Forum focused on several topics including, "Recognizing the Contributions of the American Latino in the American Economy."
Joined by business and civic leaders, Palomarez, a leading advocate for Hispanic enterprise in the U.S., highlighted the significant contribution American Latinos are making to the economy, job creation and innovation.
