The USHCC Foundation has also implemented the highly acclaimed Chamber Training Institute, a nonprofit management academic program in partnership with the University of Notre Dame.
"We are extremely proud of Javier Palomarez for his consummate leadership and dedication to small business growth in America," says USHCC Chairman Nina Vaca. As the President and CEO of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Palomarez leads America's largest organization, serving the interests of nearly three million Hispanic-owned businesses through a network of over 200 Chambers and business associations nationwide. He inspires countless local leaders and entrepreneurs through his work as a tireless advocate who listens to their concerns and studies both their challenges and innovative approaches, then articulates them to members of Congress, the Administration and the White House."
With a relentless travel schedule, Palomarez regularly interfaces with non-profit chambers of commerce, 147 corporate partners and Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs) across the country year-round.
"I am deeply honored and humbled to join the men and women who have been named to this important list of business leaders in our nation's capital," says Palomarez. "For many of us, this award is a testament to our everyday work, but I am proud to say that I also have a very supportive leadership team and a hardworking staff. Through their combined efforts, they provide the inspiration and encouragement to carry out the USHCC's mission every day."
Palomarez is one of the nation's preeminent business leaders with a background in multi-cultural sales and marketing. He is a sought-after spokesperson, thought-leader and strategist on the issues affecting America's consumers, particularly those in the Hispanic community. His opinions and points of view have appeared in leading publications including The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, USA Today and many others. He holds a degree in Finance from the University of Texas – Pan American.
