USCC Launches Whistleblower Website for Operation Choke Point

WASHINGTON, May 20, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today the United States Consumer Coalition (USCC) launched a "Whistleblower Website" in response to the U.S. government's Operation Choke Point.

"USCC is proud to launch this Whistleblower Website in an effort to stop the government's unconstitutional efforts to destroy free-market industries with which it disagrees, ultimately hurting all consumers and Americans," said USCC Executive Director Thomas A. Bezas. "We created this website to be a central collection point for the stories of all the victims of Operation Choke Point and the whistleblowers who have been encouraged to execute this extra-legal initiative."

Operation Choke Point is a U.S. government program responsible for ending banking relationships with legal private-sector companies and their customers.
