PALM SPRINGS, Calif., June 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology is pleased to announce the appointment of David M. Berman, MD, PhD of Queen's University School of Medicine as the new Editor-in-Chief of its scientific journal, Laboratory Investigation. Dr. Berman will take over as head of the journal on January 1, 2023, replacing Gene P. Siegal, MD, PhD, who spent fifteen years as Editor-in-Chief, and increased Laboratory Investigation's submission rate and impact factor to their highest levels in the journal's history.
Laboratory Investigation, a publication of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) has a 2020 Impact Factor of 5.662* and ranks 11/77 in Pathology.
