USA TODAY Wins MOBI Award for Best Mobile App for Editorial Content
MCLEAN, Va., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY has been named the winner of the 2010 MOBI award for best mobile App for editorial content for the USA TODAY iPad App. The MOBI awards honor brand innovators in mobile marketing and advertising. The announcement was made on September 13 at the MOBI awards gala in New York City.
The USA TODAY iPad App launched on April 3 and has been ranked in the iTunes store as a leading news App and a leading free App since its debut. The App has been downloaded more than 940,000 times.

The other finalists for the award were the Los Angeles Times and TMZ. The MOBI awards are selected by an esteemed judging committee of leading mobile media and marketing experts, journalists, insiders, marketers, publishers and mobile technology visionaries.
