USA TODAY Launches First Annual Family Fitness Challenge
MCLEAN, Va., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY announces the launch of the first annual Family Fitness Challenge in an effort to help families across the country improve their physical fitness this summer and have fun doing it. Beginning today, USA TODAY will feature eight families every Monday for the next two months as they try new activities together so everyone in the family will be healthier.
Activities will include staycations, family sports competitions, retro activities and camping trips. The ideas and activities were developed by top national health and fitness experts specifically for USA TODAY readers. Each family will receive a Wii™ system, a copy of the Wii Fit™ Plus software and accessories to use as part of their family fitness regimen.
