USA TODAY Announces Start of Young Lions 'Team USA' Competition
MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY, official U.S. representative to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, announces the kickoff of the 2011 Young Lions "Team USA" competitions. New this year will be a competition open to young professionals (30 years or younger) working at corporations within marketing disciplines. The 2011 Young Lions consists of the following competitions: Cyber, Film (TV), Media, Print and Young Marketer. Sponsors for the "Team USA" program include Digitas for Cyber; Pereira & O'Dell for Film; Starcom MediaVest Group for Media; USA TODAY for Print and Microsoft for Young Marketer.
Five winning teams will be sent, all expenses paid, to compete as "Team USA" in the Young Lions program at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. The Festival takes place June 19 to June 25, 2011.
