U.S. Surgeon General to Keynote Women Leaders in Healthcare Conference in Atlanta
MODERN HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE TO ADDRESS GROWING ROLE FEMALE EXECUTIVES ARE PLAYING IN REDESIGNING THE HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEM
CHICAGO, July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Regina Benjamin will headline a daylong celebration of the growing role that female healthcare executives and leaders are playing in the redesign of the healthcare delivery system. Benjamin will give the keynote address at Modern Healthcare's Women Leaders in Healthcare Conference on Tuesday, July 12, at the W Atlanta Midtown Hotel in Atlanta. Benjamin also will address a banquet that evening honoring Modern Healthcare's Top 25 Women in Healthcare for 2011.
The conference will feature panel discussions on career advancement for female healthcare executives and on their experience with new models of care delivery and reimbursement, and a closing address by Phyllis Greenberger, president and CEO of the Society for Women's Health Research.
