"Meeting with the great people who work for strong local employers such as Carfax always re-energizes me," Sen. Warner said. "Carfax has been a leading corporate presence in this community for decades, and I especially appreciate their powerful commitment to giving back to their local community."
Carfax showed off its work hard-play hard themed workspace and highlighted the company's history and community involvement efforts during Sen. Warner's tour. Based in Fairfax County for over 20 years, Carfax caters lunch once a week for its employees from locally-owned businesses, offers an annual summer internship program and its employees regularly hold fundraisers for local charities and emergency relief efforts.
"As one of the area's 'Best Places to Work' the last five times running according to the Washingtonian, Carfax is honored that Senator Warner chose to visit our headquarters," said Dick Raines, president of Carfax. "The Senator heard about how we help buyers and sellers of used cars and wanted to come see what we are doing.
