U.S. Senator Marco Rubio to Kick-Off 2011 Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference
Attorneys General John Suthers (CO), Greg Zoeller (IN) and Alan Wilson (SC) Join Distinguished Speaker Line-up
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (FL) and a panel of some of the nation's most influential state attorneys general have been added to the program for the Third Annual Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference held on August 19-20, 2011, it was announced. The panel will feature Attorneys General Alan Wilson (SC), John Suthers (CO), and Greg Zoeller (IN).
Senator Rubio will appear in a special video presentation at a V.I.P. opening reception for attendees on Thurs. Aug. 18, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Before assuming office as senator in January, Rubio was a part of the Florida House of Representatives. In November 2006, he was elected speaker of the Florida State House. Rubio also authored the book, 100 Innovative Ideas for Florida's Future, which recounts his travels throughout the state to gather ideas from citizens. In 2007, Rubio advocated reform of Florida's tax system, arguing for reduced property taxes and decreasing the size of government.

The Attorneys General Panel will take place on Friday afternoon and include Attorneys General Alan Wilson (SC), John Suthers (CO), and Greg Zoeller (IN). The panel will discuss the effects of Obamacare and right-to-work issues on the states, as well as other key topics of national importance.
