U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) to Deliver Keynote Address at International Opening Ceremony for USHCC 32nd Annual National Convention in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will deliver the keynote speech at the International Opening Ceremony for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) 32nd Annual National Convention & Business Expo. The International Opening Ceremony, taking place September 18 at the Sparkle Ballroom of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, will kick off the 2011 Convention. Over 3,000 people are expected at this annual event honoring Hispanic entrepreneurship in America.

Senator Rubio is the junior Senator from Florida, having been elected to the U.S. Senate in November 2010 after years of service in the Florida legislature, ending his tenure as Speaker of the Florida State House. A Miami native, Senator Rubio will be welcoming the Convention attendees and touching upon the exploration of new markets to increase business opportunities for Hispanic Business Enterprises (HBEs) across the country.
Also addressing the gathering are Minority Business Development Agency Director David Hinson, who will speak about Administration initiatives to increase opportunities for minority business owners internationally and Robert Jones, Counselor for Commercial Affairs for the Caribbean Region from the U.S. Commercial Service. Mr. Jones will speak about the vast opportunities open to American entrepreneurs through near-shore export promotion to the Caribbean.
