U.S. Senator George LeMieux Joins The Concord Coalition and The Peter G. Peterson Foundation at 'Fiscal Solutions Forum'
WASHINGTON, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. Senator George LeMieux (R-FL), along with The Concord Coalition and The Peter G. Peterson Foundation, will engage in a timely and educational discussion about possible solutions to America's long term budget challenges. Participants will hear from Senator LeMieux and non-partisan federal budget experts including former U.S. Comptroller General David M. Walker (currently the CEO of the Peterson Foundation) and Concord Coalition Executive Director Robert L. Bixby.
The panel of nationally recognized experts will outline the magnitude of the fiscal challenge, explain the consequences of doing nothing and describe a range of realistic solutions. They will also answer questions from the audience. This event is free and open to the public and members of the news media.
