U.S. Renal Care Names Dr. Mary Dittrich Chief Medical Officer
PLANO, Texas, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Renal Care (USRC), a leading provider of dialysis services for patients suffering from chronic kidney failure, announced today that it has named Mary Dittrich, MD, FASN, as its Chief Medical Officer. In this role, Dr. Dittrich will be responsible for managing all of U.S. Renal Care's clinical operations, physician relations, policies and protocols and quality improvement initiatives. As a member of the senior leadership team of USRC, Dr. Dittrich will also help guide overall company strategy.

As CMO, Dr. Dittrich will also oversee and continue to develop USRC's Medical Advisory Board, which consists of USRC dialysis center medical directors across the country. Her vast experience in the dialysis industry includes co-founding, operating and serving as medical director for numerous dialysis clinics in Idaho and Alaska. Dr. Dittrich was the Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for Liberty Dialysis, Inc., which served 20,000 ESRD patients throughout 280 facilities. Dr. Dittrich has also held positions as the Chief Medical Officer of Liberty Health Partners, Senior Medical Director of Remedy Partners, President of Liberty Administrative Services and CMO for Glacier Management Services in Alaska.

Dr. Dittrich received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Creighton University and earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. She completed her residency, Chief Residency and fellowship at the University of Washington. She taught at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Boise and for her work there was awarded the WWAMI Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Washington Department of Medicine.
