U.S. Preventive Medicine® CEO Christopher Fey to Present at RBC Capital Markets Healthcare Conference
Speech aimed at investors with an interest in health care reform, upcoming small business grants and the clinical practice of preventive health
DALLAS, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Preventive Medicine®, the leader in disease prevention services, announced today that Chairman and CEO Christopher Fey will speak at the RBC Capital Markets Healthcare Conference on Thursday, March 3, at the New York Palace Hotel.
Presentations at the two-day conference cover transitions in the healthcare services, pharmaceutical research, medical device development and benefits provider industries. The C-suite sessions aim to help investors identify short- and long-term healthcare marketplace opportunities and explain the mechanisms of healthcare delivery in the U.S. and abroad.
Fey will present an overview of The Prevention Plan™, the first health benefit program developed exclusively to help individuals learn about and address their top health risks as well as help employers lower health care costs and increase workforce productivity. U.S. Preventive Medicine recently partnered with Sam's Club to offer The Prevention Plan™, making it the first health management program offered directly to consumers by a major retailer.
"With the rates of many chronic diseases rising in the U.S. and driving health care inflation, the time is right for proactive health management programs to experience dramatic growth," said Fey. "I aim to educate conference attendees on the significant benefits companies and institutions can achieve by implementing preventive health programs."
Fey will speak at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday March 3, 2011, in the Kennedy 1 room. A breakout session in the Stanford room will immediately follow at 2:25pm.
