U.S. Pain Foundation Names Cindy Steinberg National Director Of Policy And Advocacy
MIDDLETOWN, Conn., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S Pain Foundation President Paul Gileno today announced that Cindy Steinberg has joined the organization as the National Director of Policy and Advocacy. In this newly created role, Steinberg will oversee and help drive the legislative and policy priorities of USPF throughout the country.

Most recently, as Chair of the Policy Council at the Massachusetts Pain Initiative, Steinberg worked with lawmakers, regulators and advocates to introduce and pass legislation and regulation critical to those living with persistent and acute pain. She is a former member of the board of directors at the American Pain Foundation and has won prestigious awards for her work on behalf of those living with pain including the American Pain Foundation Presidential Medal for outstanding contributions to the field of pain management and the State Pain Initiative Champion Award from the Alliance of State Pain Initiatives for her pain policy work.
