Richard Hall to Lead as President, CEO

Comprised of nine business leaders and guided by industry veteran Richard Hall, USOSM President and CEO, the team is well-equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the oral surgery sector and deliver exceptional support to surgeons and their practices.

Richard Hall, President and CEO
With more than 35 years of knowledge and executive experience in Fortune 500 and private healthcare service companies, Hall provides visionary leadership and strong strategic execution. Hall joined USOSM in February 2018 and has shepherd it through its early growth. Previously, Hall served as President and CEO of Oncology Services International, the world's largest independent service organization specializing in radiation therapy equipment. Hall guided the company through a significant transformation and successful sale to a prominent, private equity firm. He also served as president of Alliance Oncology and senior vice president of business development, marketing and physician recruitment for US Oncology.
Michael Dewey, Chief Financial Officer
Dewey brings more than 20 years of experience as a senior finance and operations executive, leading organizations to achieve transformation, growth and profitability. His expertise spans a wide range, including high-profile roles at publicly traded companies, where he managed large teams and key businesses in multiple foreign markets. As the strategy officer at Sally Beauty Holdings, he was a key contributor to increasing the company's market cap by $3 billion dollars. Additionally, Dewey has closed and integrated more than $700 million of buy-side acquisitions in 10 countries.
Courtney Harman, Chief Operating Officer
Harman has nearly a decade of hands-on executive experience driving frontline operations for hyper-growth organizations. She has a proven track record of utilizing talent retention, training, and development programs to build high-performing teams of executives and operational managers. Harman previously served as COO of Strategic Dental Executives. In addition, Harman managed the turnaround of a division at DaVita, a Fortune 500 healthcare company, where she initiated profitability improvements and implemented growth strategies.
Colin S. Bell, DDS, MSD, Chief Clinical Officer
Dr. Bell serves as Chief Clinical Officer and a member of the USOSM Clinical Governance Board. Dr. Bell is a practicing oral surgeon at Oral Surgery Associates of North Texas (OSANT). He also is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). He currently serves as a senior delegate from Texas in the AAOMS House of Delegates and has previously completed terms as president of both the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Chad Ehmke, Chief Information Officer
With more than 30 years of experience as a senior IT executive, Ehmke is skilled at helping companies utilize technology to drive value. Ehmke has worked with companies in a wide variety of sizes, ownership models and geographic locations. In addition, Ehmke has served as a CIO across multiple industries, including retail, restaurants, home building and consumer packaging goods. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of retail solutions for Protivix Business Solutions.
Jim Sloan, Vice President of Business Development
At USOSM, Sloan oversees all business development efforts, works directly with surgeon partners and manages the transaction process. Prior to his work with USOSM, Sloan was director of mergers & acquisitions for HealthPort Technologies LLC, a private-equity-backed, medical records company.
Todd Nickerson, Vice President of Business Development
Nickerson brings more than 20 years of experience in the dental industry, where he has consistently fueled sales and profitability. Nickerson specializes in building companies and developing a signature culture for them. At USOSM, Nickerson works directly with surgeon partners to manage the relationship during the transaction process. Previously, Nickerson was a vice president and founding employee of Smile Source, a franchise dental service organization that grew to over 600 locations.
Annette Igl, Vice President of Human Resources
With more than 25 years of experience as a senior-level, human resource executive, Igl brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to USOSM. She is responsible for the development, implementation, communication and administration of all employee relations, recruiting, benefits and compensation activities, programs, policies and plans. Previously, she was Senior Director of Human Resources at Sally Beauty Holdings, where she was a member of the executive team for the $1.6 billion Beauty Systems Group division, overseeing the HR function for over 6,000 employees in 1,300 locations across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
Lisa Fine, Vice President of Marketing
For more than 25 years, Fine has been building growth strategies for mid-size companies. She has expertise in developing marketing strategies and brands, as well as creating go-to-market plans for a myriad of healthcare organizations and healthcare-related services. Prior to joining USOSM, Fine was a chief marketing officer for a management consulting firm, Chief Outsiders, and a senior consultant and President of FINE Marketing Solutions, where she facilitated new business growth for clients.
