WASHINGTON, May 11, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. News & World Report, publisher of the Best STEM High Schools, Best STEM Jobs and Parent's Guide to STEM, today announced that the sixth annual STEM Solutions National Leadership conference is on track to be one of the largest gatherings of STEM leaders to date.
This year's list of 140-plus speakers represent a range of industries and backgrounds. Kelvin Beachum, an NFL offensive tackle with the New York Jets, will appear on a panel on the science of sports, highlighting how to build excitement for STEM through participation in sports. Olivia Khalili, director of Yahoo for Good, will present on "Creating a STEM Volunteer Program for Your Employees," while Dianna Cowern, creator of the education YouTube channel Physics Girl, will lead a discussion on how informal learning can help make STEM come alive.
