WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. News & World Report ranked Bentley University No. 2 among regional universities in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states, up from No. 3 last year, highlighting Bentley's high-quality faculty and academic programs along with the strong value that students receive from a Bentley education. Bentley was also named No. 4 among regional universities on the list of "Best Value Schools," according to U.S. News.

How the Ranking Was Conducted
The U.S. News Best Colleges rankings include data on 1,800 colleges and universities and are based on metrics including surveys completed by academic leaders and administrators (22.5 percent), graduation and retention rates (22.5 percent), faculty resources (20 percent), student selectivity (12.5 percent), financial resources (10 percent), graduation rate performance (7.5 percent), and alumni giving (5 percent).
