WELLESLEY, Mass., Sept. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- U.S. News & World Report has ranked Babson College No. 1 in entrepreneurship for an unprecedented 19th time. MIT, University of Southern California, UC Berkeley, and University of Pennsylvania round out the top five colleges for entrepreneurship.
Babson ranks 29th overall for its business program, equal to last year's position. This year Babson is tied with Arizona State University, Texas A&M University, University of Florida, and University of Georgia.
"As the world leader in entrepreneurship education, Babson is proud and honored to be recognized for the nineteenth consecutive time by U.S. News and World Report for the unique experience we provide our students and the positive difference Babson entrepreneurs are making in business and beyond," said Babson President Kerry Healey.
The U.S. News success is one of many for Babson as the academic year begins.

About the U.S. News & World Report Ranking
According to U.S. News & World Report, its rankings are based solely on surveys of business school deans and senior faculty. Participants were asked to rate the quality of business programs with which they're familiar on a scale of 1 (marginal) to 5 (distinguished); 37 percent of those surveyed responded to the most recent survey conducted in the spring of 2015. Two years of data were used to calculate the peer assessment score. Deans and faculty members also were asked to nominate the 10 best programs in a number of specialty areas.
