FAYETTEVILLE, N.C., April 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- US Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of private equity consolidator Ranger International Services Group, announces a recent contract award by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) under its GSA LogWorld contract. The new FEMA project calls for US Logistics to supply technical support personnel at multiple locations in the U.S. as part of FEMA's stated mission "to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards." This contract award opens a new growth channel for US Logistics, at the same time offering the Department of Homeland Security a capable technical services partner for other future operational support.
