STOCKHOLM, Aug. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Natural Cycles today announced that its application for De Novo classification as a Class II medical device has been granted by the United States (US) Food and Drug Administration (FDA), making Natural Cycles the only app cleared in the United States as a form of birth control.

FDA's decision was based on a large body of clinical data from 15,570 women, in which Natural Cycles was shown to be 93% effective with typical use^*.¹
