DOJ Conflict Demands A Special Prosecutor
In the video, Richard I. Fine, calls for a special prosecutor to investigate the DOJ and HUD Cover-Up of a questionable HUD Loan Guarantee for $125 million for a 500 luxury apartment complex "the Shores" located on L.A. County owned property in Marina del Rey. The former Prosecutor Fine said the case should be prosecuted under the RICO laws (Racketeering Influences Corrupt Organizations Act) because of the involvement of the County Board of Supervisors, Superior Court Judges and the developers.
Judges, Developers, County Act To Silence Opposition
The "Shores" developers and L.A. County were embroiled in litigation over the "Shores" development (Marina Strand Colony II Homeowners Association v. County of Los Angeles) and other lawsuits before L.A. State Superior Court judges who were taking illegal payments from L.A. County. Fine represented the opposition and had prosecuted the judges for the illegal payments. The judges complained to the California State Bar whose president represented the "Shores" developer and president elect's law firm represented L.A. County. The State Bar disbarred Fine.
