U.S. CTO Aneesh Chopra to Keynote NJTC CIO Conference Friday; 2010 CIO of the Year to be Honored
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Following what is sure to be a rousing keynote speech by Aneesh Chopra, United States chief technology officer and assistant to President Barack Obama, the New Jersey Technology Council will name the 2010 CIO of the Year at the NJTC CIO Conference, set for Friday, Feb. 26, at the Heldrich Hotel.
Chopra, a Trenton native, is the first federal CTO. He previously served as Virginia's fourth secretary of technology. Prior to his government service, Chopra was managing director for the Advisory Board Company, a health care think tank for hospitals and health systems. The U.S. CTO will share his views on the current administration's commitment to the technology community.
This event, which this year focuses on "Cloud Computing: Harnessing the Future," is sure to bring together IT professionals from the entire Northeast region. This is a one-stop opportunity to learn, network and meet your next partner or customer!
In addition to Chopra's keynote speech, the NJTC CIO Conference will feature a great CIO panel discussion about Best Practices, "Transforming IT with Cloud Computing – Where do you start?" The NJTC is extremely excited to be naming the 2010 CIO of the Year during the event.
