AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Army announced today that the $5.3 million Combined Arms Center (CAC) Omnibus contract has been awarded to a team of companies led by nFocus Software. The 5-year (1 base year and 4 option years) indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract will provide the United States Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth (USACACFL) with the ability to acquire the products and services it requires to support its mission to prepare the Army for the Global War on Terrorism and transforming it to meet future threats.

nFocus Software assembled a team comprised of General Dynamics Information Technology, Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC), and 17 small businesses. The contract will enable nFocus Software and its team of subcontractors to compete for task orders across multiple functional areas including software and simulation development, studies and analysis, doctrine, training and leader development, information technology support, strategic communication, and more.
The team provides CAC with a stable of experienced and diverse businesses supported by the global presence of two premier Defense contractors. The leadership team is lead by Col. (ret) Dave Buckley, nFocus Software's Senior Vice President for Government Business and the Program Manager for the CAC effort.
