URS Corporation Joins CyberPatriot as Gold Sponsor
ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Air Force Association (AFA) today announced that URS Corporation, a leading provider of engineering, construction and technical services, has joined the team of sponsors for CyberPatriot, the national high school cyber defense competition.

CyberPatriot is an exciting education initiative created to stimulate student interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Providing students hands-on learning about technology, CyberPatriot emphasizes teamwork and leadership, and exercises critical-thinking skills as teams learn how to defend and protect computer systems from cyber threats. This year's competition began in late October 2011, with more than 1,000 teams around the country (and five in Canada) registered to participate.
