Upland Software Expands Mobile Messaging Capabilities with Facebook Messenger

Through partnership with Twilio, Mobile Commons messaging customers can now deliver automated campaigns via Facebook Messenger and SMS

AUSTIN, Texas, March 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Upland Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: UPLD), a leader in cloud-based Enterprise Work Management software, today announced the company has joined the Twilio Partner Program as a SaaS Partner. Via Twilio's cloud communications platform (NYSE: TWLO), Upland Software will now provide customers of its Mobile Commons messaging application the ability to drive messaging campaigns through both SMS and Facebook Messenger.

The Mobile Commons mobile CRM and messaging platform is an enterprise-grade application that allows governments, non-profits, healthcare providers and commercial enterprises to drive automated and personalized SMS campaigns at scale. The new Facebook Messenger integration through Twilio's API will allow organizations to deliver their critical communications campaigns through both SMS and Facebook Messenger in a simultaneous and seamless fashion. This is in addition to the out-of-the-box integrations that Mobile Commons has already built to connect with 3^rd party CRM and reporting applications.
