Upland Software Certifies Panasonic Scanners for Use with its FileBound ECM Application

AUSTIN, Texas and NEWARK, N.J., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Upland Software, Inc., a leader in cloud-based Enterprise Work Management applications, and Panasonic, a provider of industry leading document management and imaging solutions, today announced the certification of Panasonic hardware with Upland's FileBound document and workflow automation software. Panasonic's KV-S1027C workgroup scanner was tested in Upland's technical lab to validate that the two products will provide FileBound and Panasonic customers with an unparalleled user experience by making it easier and faster to scan and store a wide range of documents.

Through this collaboration between Upland and Panasonic, customers and the reseller community can be confident that the solutions they build will meet the highest standards for reliability and interoperability. FileBound is an end-to-end enterprise content management (ECM) application to capture, store and manage content that includes workflow automation, predictive analytics, electronic forms and records management. The high quality images from the KV-S1027C scanner can be imported directly into FileBound to drive business processes and better decision making.

The KV-S1027C delivers improved scanning speeds and new paper feed mechanisms for faster, more reliable scanning of paper documents, as well as other items, such as embossed ID cards or passports. Additionally, the workgroup scanner features a small footprint design for conveniently fitting into a tight space or atop a desk or counter.
