ABB Ltd Research Reports
On July 18, 2014, ABB Ltd (ABB) reported that it has won a $35 million order from Hydro-Quebec for upgrading the 350 megawatt Madawaska high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission link, connecting the grids of New Brunswick and Hydro Quebec in southeast Canada. According to ABB, the scope of this project includes installation of the Company's MACH control and protection system as well as the upgrade of the valves and the valve cooling system. On July 17, 2014, GenCorp Inc (GenCorp) reported that its company, Aerojet Rocketdyne, has successfully completed a hot-fire test on its flight-representative 1 Newton (1N) thruster at the Company's specially designated green propellant facility in Redmond, Washington.
